Laguna Gardens is just one step closer to completion in Miami Gardens, FL. The complex will comprise 11 four-story buildings, offering 341 homes. Apartments.com notes that homes range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom floorplans.
They will feature high-end finishings, along with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and storage space. Communal amenities include a fitness center, game room, co-working lounge, swimming pool, and meditation garden.
Our other sources indicate that the community will comprise 400,000 square feet of new construction, costing $190 million to complete. In 2022, the South Florida Business Journal noted that rent would be under $2,500 a month, although this may have changed given market fluctuations.
Cymbal DLT Cos. is spearheading the project. It enrolled all units into the Live Local Act, offering residents making up to 120 percent of the area’s median income below market rental rates. Construction started on Laguna Gardens in 2022.
Completion is slated for early 2024, meaning the project took around 18 months to complete. Cymbal DLT Cos. purchased the 13.65-acre build site for $15.52 million. The parcel previously traded for $4.39 million in 2018––a 253.53 percent increase.
The build site was largely vacant prior to the start of construction. Laguna Gardens will soon welcome tenants at 20775 NW 17th Ave, Miami Gardens, FL, 33056, in Miami-Dade County.
