Sales have launched for a 37-story condo in Hollywood, Florida––despite not breaking ground yet. Icon Beach is set to offer 350 condos, ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom floorplans. The Real Deal reports that homes would span 950 to 2,600 square feet, with ownership starting at $825,000.
In addition to the residences, Icon Beach would offer 30,000 square feet of amenities, including an outdoor movie theater, summer kitchens, fitness center, swimming pool and deck, marina, and beach club.
Construction is anticipated to start on Icon Beach either in this year’s fourth quarter or early 2025. The South Florida Business Journal reports that construction should take 24 months. The high-rise will occupy the site of the Diplomat Beach Resort. The Real Deal reports that Icon Beach’s owners are in talks to “offer buyers beach access and services.”
The Related Group and BH Group purchased the build site for $30 million in August 2023. The duo have many active projects in their pipeline, including a 500-key hotel and a 26-story tower called “Icon Aventura.”
Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates designed Icon Beach. Meyer Davis is the interior designer. Within the next year, Icon Beach could take shape at 3724 South Ocean Drive, Hollywood, Florida, 33019, in Broward County.
