Contractors have officially broken ground on Origin Residences by Artefacto, a luxury housing development in the Bay Harbor Islands.
The structure will measure seven stories and offer 27 units, with the largest measuring 2,330 square feet and the smallest starting at $1.9 million, according to the venture’s website. They range from two-bedroom to four-bedroom floorplans. At the time of publication, the South Florida Business Journal reported that the community was 70 percent pre-sold.
Communal amenities at Origin Residences by Artefacto include a rooftop amenity deck with a swimming pool, summer kitchen, and bar. Other communal amenities include co-working space, a social room, and 10 marina slips. Revuelta Architecture International is the architect. Thornton Construction is the general contractor, and VDA | Origin Miami is the developer.
Miami-based Artefacto supplied the furnishings. Florida YIMBY first reported on Origin Residences by Artefacto in 2023, though construction is anticipated to end in 2025.
Google Earth’s rendering show that prior to the start of construction, the build site was undeveloped. The multi-million-dollar housing development will be located at 9760 West Bay Harbor Drive, Bay Harbor Islands, FL, 33154, in Miami-Dade County. It will lie east of I-95 and north of Miami Beach.
