Greystar has broken ground on a mixed-use development in Ocoee, Florida. Elan Crown Point will offer 315 apartments, with homes’ layout plans spanning one-bedroom to three-bedroom designs. It will be part of the developing Crown Village venture.
The Orlando Business Journal notes that residences at Elan Crown Point will be designed in a “townhome-style and live/work formats.” Communal amenities include an on-site clubhouse. Parker LeCorgne of Greystar told media outlets, “The amenities at Elan Crown Point will encourage social connectivity and recreation with the combination of light wood tones and sophisticated details, paired with organic and coastal elements.”
Aside from the residential aspect, plans call for ground-floor commercial space and “a retail outparcel for a compatible and community-oriented user.” Greystar is developing Elan Crown Point in partnership with Tampa-based Wire Development. Other involved parties include Harris Civil Engineers, Beasley & Henley Interior Design, and FK Architecture
The first units could be delivered in Fall 2025, with construction anticipated to finish in 2026. Florida YIMBY recently reported on another project in Greystar’s pipeline: Elan Palm Reserve. That project started construction in October 2022, welcoming its first residents in spring 2024.
Our sources do not list an exact address for Elan Crown Point. Yet, they indicate that it surrounds the 22-mile West Orange Trail and is located within driving distance of Central Florida’s theme park attractions.
