Newgard Development Group and Two Roads Development, in collaboration with The Standard team, have officially announced The Standard Residences, Brickell, a new residential tower in Miami’s Financial District. Located at 690 Southwest 1st Avenue, this project is part of the One Brickell Riverfront mixed-use development featuring three high-rise towers. The Standard Residences, Brickell, marks the brand’s second standalone residential project in the U.S., following the success of its Midtown Miami development.
The 45-story tower, designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by GOOD.RICH in collaboration with The Standard’s design studio, will offer 422 residences ranging from 500-square-foot studios to 1,100-square-foot two-bedroom units, starting at $600,000.
“The opportunity to work with Newgard on this residential project was exhilarating. It continues our strategy of building residences in places we love, whether Miami, Austin, Lisbon, or Phuket,” said Amar Lalvani, formerly Executive Chairman of Standard International and currently President and Creative Director of Hyatt’s Lifestyle group. ”We know buyers love the style and vibe of what we create and want a place where they can live, work, and play simultaneously. We plan to bring The Standard brand’s vibrancy and social programming to Brickell’s rooftop and dining experiences – to a community of like-minded individuals that will call it home.”
“We’ve curated some of the industry’s most talented architects and designers to create a tower that will be striking yet also infuses the existing community and neighborhood,” said Harvey Hernandez, founder and CEO of Newgard. “Newgard, along with Two Roads, is excited to be working with The Standard team on this development that will redefine and create a new era of living for Miami and, more specifically, for Brickell.”
Situated in the heart of Brickell by the River, the residences will place future homeowners steps away from shopping, dining, and entertainment at Brickell City Centre and within walking distance of Miami’s cultural and financial hubs. The development combines urban connectivity with retreat-like amenities, making it a unique addition to the Brickell skyline.
“Today’s buyers are looking for properties with personality and a sense of place that align with their unique lifestyles,” said Daniel de la Vega, president of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. “The Standard Residences, Brickell, will have everything—a connected and walkable location, world-class amenities, and a curated culture that only the Standard brand can deliver. We are proud to collaborate with this visionary team to introduce a new benchmark for luxury riverfront living in one of Miami’s most vibrant neighborhoods.”
The tower will feature an expansive array of amenities that reflect The Standard’s reputation for fostering community and culture. Residents will enjoy a 45th-floor rooftop pool with beverage and towel service, private dining spaces, summer kitchens, a club lounge, and co-working spaces with meeting rooms. The 10th-floor amenities include a wellness spa with infinity plunge pools, steam rooms, saunas, a fitness center, a yoga and dance studio, a bowling alley, a screening room, and a pet spa. The development also boasts a signature restaurant and bar on the 9th floor, a ground-level riverfront restaurant, and curated food and beverage experiences.
“What The Standard brand offers when it comes to culture goes beyond the expected,” said Taylor Collins, Managing Partner of Two Roads. “With its focus on one-of-a-kind experiences tailored to each destination, The Standard Residences, Brickell will surely deliver a living journey like no other along the riverfront.”
Sales and marketing for the project are being handled exclusively by ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. Initial buyers will also benefit from The Standard’s Friends With Benefits program, offering discounts at Standard hotels worldwide, subject to terms and conditions.
