Fort Lauderdale-based Ceiba Groupe has plans for a unique housing development in Northern Florida. Royal Palms Main Street will comprise 227 units, a mix of build-to-rent homes and standard multi-family units.
The Jacksonville Business Journal notes that, in total, there will be 10 buildings, five of which currently have permits pending. More specifically, buildings two, three, and eight will measure four stories and feature 56 units; buildings six and 10 will have nine units, and the remaining homes will be spread across various two-story buildings.

Communal amenities at Royal Palms Main Street will include a swimming pool, storage facility, clubhouse, and recreational areas. In total, the venture’s estimated to cost more than $40 million to complete, with permits comprising half that amount.
This isn’t the only Royal Palms-themed project in Ceiba Groupe’s pipeline. The firm is also working on Royal Palms Nehi, located in Panama City, which will comprise 700 units. BPA architects is the architect, and p2 Interiors is handling the interior design aspect. Royal Palms Main Street will occupy an 11-acre site. The developer purchased the assemblage, which includes five parcels, for $1.36 million in 2022.
Aerial renderings show that the site is currently undeveloped. The 227-unit community will be located at 15275 N. Main St., Jacksonville, FL, 32218, in Duval County.
