To accommodate South Florida’s growing elderly population, many ventures are underway to provide a solid quality of life to those individuals. One of those ventures is Wellington Bay, a 1.5 million square foot retirement facility coming to Wellington, FL.
This development comes with a lot of features, tailored to meet seniors’ needs. First, the project will feature an assisted living facility four stories above grade. Called “Libset Assisted Living,” this aspect offers one to two-bedroom apartments for those who need help living independently. Wellington Bay also offers “Libset Memory Support,” which is designed for those struggling with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
Wellington Bay’s other residences are classified into three categories: apartments, villas, and “garden flats.” Some of these units are multi-family homes, while others are free-standing and allow for more privacy. These spaces range from 850 square feet to 1,800 square feet. There is no public information regarding the price of each.
The development’s campus is booming with activity. On its 40-acre premises, residents will be able to enjoy community pools, open-air bars, and a 65,000-square-foot clubhouse. There are also concierge, weekly housekeeping, linen, and notary services available without having to exit the facility.
The Construction Journal notes Wellington Bay’s physical address as 2550 and 2590 Wellington Bay Drive and 10465, 10653, 10669, 10685 Stable Lane in Wellington, FL, 33414. It’s located in Palm Beach County, FL.
