‘The Mark Tampa’ Planned for Immediate Groundbreaking at 2700 University Square Drive, Tampa, Florida

Three developers have closed on a 4.31-acre property that will soon host a student housing development.

The Mark Tampa, located in its namesake city, will measure six stories above grade and comprise 215 units. The fully-furnished units would span studio to five-bedroom layouts, equipped with in-unit laundry facilities, quartz countertops, and modern appliances.

The development itself will be able to host 807 beds.

Additionally, residents would have access to 25,000 square feet of on-site amenities, including (but not limited to) a clubhouse, rooftop swimming pool, and indoor/outdoor fitness center. All six floors would also have a computer lab and study areas. TBBW reports that The Mark Tampa would have 988 square feet of ground-floor retail, 647 parking spots, and a shuttle directly to the University of South Florida’s campus, located just 0.18 miles away.

Landmark Properties, Canyon Partners Real Estate, and Peninsula Investments are the project’s developers. They intend to break ground on The Mark Tampa immediately, aiming for completion for the 2027-2028 school year. Landmark Construction is the general contractor. Atlanta-based Dwell Design Studios is the architect.
