Developer PMG Affordable, in partnership with the Tampa Housing Authority, has submitted plans for the first step of the Robles Park redevelopment project.
Plans for the seven-story “Lot D” call for 233 affordable housing units reserved for households earning 30 to 80 percent of the area median income (AMI). By these parameters, the City of Tampa reports that a four-person household would earn between $32,150 to $83,450 annually to qualify.

Residential layout plans would range from one-bedroom to four-bedroom units, with the majority of homes being two-bedroom layouts. According to Floridian Development, they would span about 570 to 1,439 square feet. Residents would have access to more than 10,000 square feet of interior amenities, along with a 2,000-square-foot leasing office and an expansive 32,486-square-foot community center occupying the second floor.
As noted, PMG Affordable and the Tampa Housing Authority are the developers. The pair secured approval for the larger Robles Park redevelopment venture in 2024. Part of the $800 million investment involves replacing one of Tampa’s oldest housing developments (a 67-unit community constructed in the 1950s) with a space-efficient, evergreen development with an emphasis on long-term affordability.
Ducon, LLC is the general contractor. The firm intends to break ground on Lot D later this April. Baker Barrios is the architect. Lot D is situated at 3814 N Central Avenue, Tampa, Florida, 33603, in Hillsborough County.
