Construction continues on a mixed-use venture set for West Palm Beach. The District at Northwood is set to comprise residential, retail, and restaurant space, with completion slated for this year’s fourth quarter. The project has been in the works for more than three years, according to documents from Katz & Associates.
The District at Northwood will feature 382 luxury apartments; residents would have access to a rooftop swimming pool and spa, private fitness center, and racquetball court. Another key feature of the District at Northwood will be the 60,772 square feet of Class A restaurant and retail space. Kobi Karp is the architect.

The South Florida Business Journal reports that the venture has secured its first retail tenant: Miami-based Elev8tion Fitness, which has signed a 10-year lease. It will occupy a 7,617-square-foot space, and it’ll be Elev8tion Fitness’s first physical location in West Palm Beach. Additional tenants are expected to come aboard the closer the mixed-use project gets to completion.
The District at Northwood is set to complement West Palm Beach’s Northwood Arts District. The 382-apartment venture will be located at 2501 Pinewood Ave, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33407, in Palm Beach County. It will occupy 4.68 acres.
