New Aerials Capture Aston Martin Residences Towering Over Biscayne Bay in Downtown Miami

Aston Martin Residences, a 66-story residential skyscraper at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way in Downtown Miami, remains a defining feature nearly two years after completion. With new towers continuing to reshape the skyline, the 817-foot structure retains a contemporary appearance that has not been diminished by surrounding development. Positioned on a unique narrow site at the mouth of the Miami River, it continues to rank among the most prominent and visually striking buildings along the skyline.

The slender tower, designed by BMA with Revuelta Architecture International serving as architect of record and developed by G&G Business Developments, takes full advantage of its constrained site through a tapering form that narrows as it rises. The design draws from aerodynamic principles associated with the Aston Martin brand, expressed through a sail-like massing and a sleek glass façade that enhances reflections of the surrounding bay. The resulting envelope features a faceted geometry that creates a dynamic visual effect across the skyline while emphasizing the tower’s height and vertical proportions.

Recent aerial photographs show Aston Martin Residences rising prominently along the Miami River, where its slender profile is fully expressed from multiple vantage points. The tower’s tapering, curvilinear form becomes especially apparent in head-on views from the river corridor, where its narrow footprint creates a streamlined presence along the waterfront. The sail-like silhouette reinforces its aerodynamic design intent, while the glass-clad façade mirrors the surrounding waters of Biscayne Bay, strengthening its visual connection to the maritime setting. Continuous balcony bands wrap the façade in horizontal layers, contrasting with the building’s vertical rise and reinforcing its fluid, sculptural character. The crown reveals a series of stepped upper levels and a defined rooftop element, while the surrounding skyline frames the tower’s position at the river’s edge, underscoring its role as a focal point within Downtown Miami.

Aston Martin Residences yields 391 condominium units, including a mix of one- to five-bedroom residences, duplexes, and penthouses. Developed by G&G Business Developments, the tower features interiors created in collaboration with Aston Martin, incorporating bespoke materials, custom finishes, and detailing inspired by the brand’s automotive design language. The building includes more than 42,000 square feet of amenities distributed across multiple levels, including an art gallery, movie theater, children’s and teens’ lounges, a fitness center, and a full-service spa. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools are positioned on the 55th floor, offering elevated views over Biscayne Bay, while a superyacht marina is located directly along the Miami River.

Coastal Construction served as the general contractor, overseeing vertical construction from foundation through completion. The project was announced in 2016, and construction progressed over several years before reaching completion in 2024. Sales at the property reached some of the highest price points in Downtown Miami, with several residences and upper-tier units trading above $20 million, alongside the marketing of a triplex penthouse with an asking price of approximately $59 million.

G&G Business Developments is now advancing plans for Calle 8, a proposed mixed-use tower at 190 SW 8th Street in Brickell. The project is currently envisioned as a 68-story structure rising approximately 737 feet and designed by BMA, with a residential-heavy program and ground-floor retail. The tower is expected to feature a distinctive angular trapezoidal profile that emphasizes a sculptural presence on the skyline, in a manner that similarly echoes the design seen at Aston Martin Residences.
