Developer Seeks Rezoning Approval for ‘The Beverly Townhouses’ at 971 S.W. 121st Ave., Davie, Florida

On April 7th, Davie’s Planning & Zoning Board will consider plans for a townhome development on an 18.6-acre site. The Beverly Townhouses would feature 92 townhomes in 19, two-story buildings.

Floorplans would include two-bedroom and three-bedroom models, spanning 1,578 to 1,815 square feet. Renderings show that the homes’ bottom floor would feature a living room, kitchen, powder room, and dining room, while the second level would host the bedrooms and laundry room.

Communal amenities would include a 5,000-square-foot clubhouse, swimming pool, and 291 parking spots. Each home would come equipped with a connected one- or two-car garage, depending on the model.

New York-based MHV Development is the developer. The firm is presently seeking a rezoning approval that would rezone the 18.6-acre site from “agricultural district” to “low-medium dwelling.” The site currently has a nursery operated by DynaServ Florida.

Bohler Engineering is the civil engineer. The site plan shows that the townhomes would be centered around a 1.4-acre pond, and the community itself would have eco-friendly features to promote adequate drainage.

The Beverly Townhouses has been proposed for 990 and 1000 Flamingo Road, plus 971 S.W. 121st Ave., Davie, Florida, 33325, in Broward County.
