Developer Proposes ‘The Bertani at Broken Sound’ Condos for 6001 Broken Sound Pkwy NW, Boca Raton, FL

Boca Raton-based Compson Associates has proposed an eight-story condo in Palm Beach County.

The Bertani at Broken Sound would measure eight stories above grade and feature 60 condos. Residences would include two-bedroom and three-bedroom units, topping out at 2,513 square feet. Six of the condos would be designated as workforce housing to comply with city regulations; the County defines workforce housing as housing designated for households earning within 60 to 140 percent of the area median income (AMI).

Communal amenities at The Bertani at Broken Sound would include a swimming pool, fitness center, and golf simulator. Additionally, there would be 413 parking spots in two covered garages: 285 spots in one garage for the adjacent office building, and another 128 for condominium residents. The remaining 67 would be surface parking spots. In total, the venture would require just over 193,000 square feet of new construction. County records also reveal a retail aspect.

Compson Associates currently has the project’s 2.42 acres under contract from its current owner, 6001 BSP Associated. Vander Ploeg and Associates is the architect. Compson is one of a few developers who have proposed multi-family developments for the Park at Broken Sound office complex, such as this 289-unit project we covered in July 2024.
