Construction Tops Off On Meliá Residences Miami In Brickell

Urban Network Capital Group (UNCG), Meliá Hotels & Resorts, and Concepto Capital Group celebrated the top-off of Meliá Residences Miami on May 21, marking a major construction milestone for the brand’s first hotel-branded residential concept in North America. The achievement comes amid strong sales activity, underscoring continued interest from both local and international buyers.

The structure has now reached its final height following weeks of steady vertical construction, representing a significant step forward as work shifts toward exterior and interior build-out.

Concepto Capital Group played a key role in the capitalization and development of the project, further expanding its footprint within Florida’s hospitality-focused real estate market. The company operates as a vertically integrated platform that brings together architecture, investment strategy, development, marketing, and sales under a single organization.

The firm traces its roots to Concepto Taller de Arquitectura and more than 12 years of experience in the design and development industry. Since then, it has grown into a broader real estate investment and development platform with a particular focus on hospitality and vacation-rental-oriented projects.

Today, the group’s portfolio encompasses more than $899 million in sellout value, over 2,110 units, $63 million in total equity, and more than 2 million square feet of gross area across multiple developments.

Florida remains a primary market for the company due to its position as one of the country’s leading tourism, cultural, and financial centers. Through its integrated approach, Concepto Capital Group continues to expand throughout Miami and Orlando with projects that blend hospitality, design, and long-term real estate investment.

The residences and amenity spaces were designed by Adriana Hoyos Design Studio, known for its contemporary approach that emphasizes warmth, craftsmanship, and livability. For Meliá Residences Miami, the design team incorporated natural materials, organic textures, and a Mediterranean-inspired palette intended to reflect the hospitality brand’s heritage while creating inviting and functional spaces.

Concepto Taller de Arquitectura, the architectural foundation behind Concepto Capital Group, was responsible for the design of the residential rooms. Drawing on more than a decade of experience across international residential and hospitality projects, the studio focused on functionality, efficiency, and contemporary living. Its involvement highlights the group’s vertically integrated development model and its emphasis on design quality throughout the project.

Each residence was conceived as a turnkey home, delivered fully furnished and move-in ready with curated finishes and furnishings selected to create a seamless ownership experience.

The development will feature a collection of wellness-oriented amenities aligned with Meliá Hotels & Resorts’ global lifestyle platform. Plans include wellness and relaxation spaces, fitness facilities inspired by Mediterranean living, pools and outdoor terraces, social lounges, coworking areas, and hospitality-driven services designed to support both residents and guests.

Together, the amenities are intended to provide a balanced residential environment connected to Miami’s urban energy while responding to growing demand for hospitality-oriented housing options.

Meliá Residences Miami also marks the brand’s return to the city through a residential-hospitality concept that combines Meliá’s Mediterranean roots with Miami’s international character.

Supported by a $30 million construction loan arranged by Concord Summit Capital and backed by the strategic involvement of Concepto Capital Group, the development is now moving into its next phase following the top-off milestone.
