Construction has topped out on the Grand Hyatt Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel, a 17-story hospitality development at 1701 Convention Center Drive in Miami Beach. Designed by Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica and developed by Terra and Turnberry, the project will yield an 800-room luxury hotel with 110,000 square feet of meeting and ballroom space, 17,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, and a direct connection to the Miami Beach Convention Center via a climate-controlled skybridge. Construction is expected to be completed in late 2027.

The hotel will contain 12 floors of guest accommodations, including 50 suites, while four floors will house meeting and ballroom space designed to complement the Miami Beach Convention Center’s programming.
According to the developers, Greater Miami and Miami Beach welcomed 28.3 million visitors in 2025, underscoring continued tourism and convention demand and the need for expanded hotel accommodations adjacent to the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Planned amenities include an 8,000-square-foot Grand Lawn atop the fifth-floor rooftop amenity deck with views of the Miami skyline, two resort-style swimming pools, event space, a Grand Club, a fitness center with a spa treatment room, a signature restaurant, lobby lounge and bar, and 17,000 square feet of retail space designed to activate the street-level experience. Nearly two-thirds of the guest rooms will feature balconies, with many offering views of the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay. Once complete, the development will also introduce new public spaces, pedestrian-friendly promenades, bike-sharing stations, and connectivity to public transit.
