A Utah-based developer is proceeding with a multi-family housing development in Bradenton.

Lotus Vyne is slated to include two four-story buildings with a total of 293 apartments.  One will host 109 units, while the other will feature 184. Residents would have access to various on-site amenities, including but not limited to a swimming pool, children’s playground, and 430 parking spots – averaging about 1.47 spots per unit.

Lotus Co. is the developer. The firm recently filed an application with the Southwest Florida Water Management District requesting a permit. Lotus Co. is not seeking incentives under the Live Local Act or any affordable housing legislation, meaning Lotus Vyne will likely feature market-rate units.

The average cost of a 763-square-foot apartment in Bradenton, Florida, is currently $1,510 a month, according to Apartments.com.

Lotus Vyne isn’t the only development taking shape in Manatee County. In June, Florida YIMBY reported on Seaire, a master-planned venture spanning 600 acres. Upon completion, the project will yield more than 3,000 residences, including townhomes, villas, and single-family homes. A key feature is the four-acre manmade lagoon.

Lotus Vyne is slated for 15005 E. State Road 64, Bradenton, Florida, 34212, in Manatee County. The nearly 10-acre site is largely undeveloped.
