Five-Story, 60-Unit Project Slated for 3200 First Avenue South, St. Petersburg, Florida

A multi-family housing community made of pre-fabricated parts is headed for St. Petersburg’s Whitney Village project.

Developer Blake Investment Partners has teamed up with Vessel Technologies on a 60-unit venture that will feature pre-built models, including stairwells, elevators, and cabinetry. Another aspect involves forgoing painted drywall and instead opting for high-pressure laminate walls. With these models, construction on the five-story building could take just six months.

The 60-unit project will mark Vessel Technologies’ first Florida project. The firm will manufacture the pre-fab home parts in Pennsylvania and send them South.

Floorplans will include 56 one-bedroom models and four two-bedroom models; in-unit features are set to include integrated smart home technology, spacious showers, and washers/dryers. At the time of publication, our sources did not reveal insight on any possible communal amenities.

As noted, the 60-unit project will be part of the larger Whitney Village endeavor, which Florida YIMBY covered in August 2026. One aspect of that development includes The Henry at Whitney Village; the five-story, 325-unit project recently topped out and is slated for a March 2027 completion.

The 60-unit development is planned for 3200 First Avenue South, St. Petersburg, Florida, 33712, in Pinellas County. It will occupy the corner of 31st Street South and First Avenue South.
