Construction to Commence on 220-Unit ‘The Winsberg at Green Cay’ at 6509 Flavor Pict Rd, Boynton Beach, FL

A non-profit developer has secured funds for an assisted living community in Palm Beach County.

The Winsberg at Green Cay is slated to comprise 220 units, spanning about 920 to 2,450 square feet each. Specifically, they will include 189 independent care units, 16 memory care units, and 15 assisted living units. There are 10 distinct floorplans, with models featuring one or two bedrooms, depending on the configuration.

Some amenities will include a fitness center, a swimming pool, and an indoor putting green; there will also be on-site nursing services. In total, the venture will span 500,000 square feet of new construction.

Green Cay Life Plan Village Inc. is the developer. In 2022, the firm purchased the project’s 15-acre build site for $18.65 million. BRP Senior Housing Management was the seller, and it’s one of the partners on the project – along with Greenbrier Development.

More recently, Green Cay Life Plan Village Inc. secured $380.65 million in financing to fund the assisted living project’s construction. It’s estimated that construction will take 26 months, with sitework anticipated to start by the end of this month. Moss & Associates is the general contractor.
