Construction Starts on First Phase of ‘the Fields at SeaFlower’ at 7840 Sea Lily Dr, Bradenton, FL

Construction is underway for an expansive master-planned community in Manatee County.

The first phase of the Fields at SeaFlower is set to include residences, retail, and hotel rooms. Specifically, plans call for 362 apartments in three stories, with floorplans spanning one-bedroom to three-bedroom units. Communal amenities will include but aren’t limited to a swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, and dog park. Residents will also have the option of renting single-car garages and storage trailers for jet skis.

At full buildout, the community is anticipated to host 4,000 single-family homes, 250 hotel rooms, 600 apartments, and 350,000 square feet of retail and office space. Future tenants include Publix, Dave’s Hot Chicken, and Whataburger, just to name a few.

NDC Construction is the general contractor. While our sources did not offer a timeline for completion, they did share that pre-leasing is expected to start next summer. Our sources also did not offer specifics regarding the cost of rent, although these will likely be market-rate units. The average cost of an apartment in Bradenton is currently $1,798 a month, according to RentCafé.
