A Miami Lakes-based developer has plans for a senior housing community that would span close to 70,000 square feet of new construction.
Redland Crossing Senior Living would measure seven stories above grade and host 71 apartments. Layout plans would include one-bedroom and two-bedroom configurations. Communal amenities would include a clubroom, fitness center, and 41 parking spots.
All homes at Redland Crossing Senior Living would be designated as affordable housing. Miami-Dade County currently defines affordable housing as housing reserved for households earning at or below 140 percent of the area median income (AMI). Miami-Dade County’s median income was $87,200 as of 2025.

Gallo Herbert Architecture is the architect. Centennial Management Corp., through its affiliate, LVS Naranja LLC, is leading the project. Redland Crossing Senior Living is currently in its pre-application phase, where developers seek community feedback before proceeding with the formal application process.
This 71-unit development is just one of many evolving projects in Centennial Management Corp.’s pipeline. Earlier this June, Florida YIMBY covered Santa Cruz Isles, an eight-story senior housing development in Leisure City. The 94-foot-tall building will host 120 units.
Redland Crossing Senior Living is planned for a 0.79-acre site west of the Redland Crossings apartment complex – another property owned by Centennial Management Corp.
