Belmont Village Coral Gables, an assisted living facility, is just one step closer to completion. The $50 million venture started construction in the second quarter of 2021 and will ideally open in the second quarter of 2023. Per the Construction Journal, the project is owned by Baptist Health Systems of South Florida, which presently has three active projects right now.
The assisted living facility will rise 10 stories above grade and comprise over 230 units. In total, it will require over 353,000 square feet of new construction. The assisted living facility will be incorporated in the Belmont Senior Living Village.

Units come in three styles: one bedroom, two bedrooms, and studios. Residents can enjoy chef-prepared meals and can choose from a menu that has 24 items. There’s also an on-premises salon for both men and women. Amenities include landscaped trails, pools, a sports lounge, a arts parlor, and music rooms, per Belmont’s website. It’s also within walking distance of local restaurants and stores.

Belmont Village Coral Gables is also a pet-friendly community with “no buy-in or long-term contracts required.” This is different from other assisted living facilities in Miami-Dade County, which require entrance fees. It’s located at 4111 Salzedo Street, Coral Gables, FL.
