After being in the construction phase since 2019, the Ray has finally ceased construction and commenced operations. The $26.5 million hotel comprises over 220,000 square feet of new construction and rises four stories above grade. Visitors can book one of 141 units either online or over the phone. Per the Ray Hotel’s website, rooms right now start at around $200 a night.
It’s owned by Menin Development Companies, Inc. The organization, based out of Delray Beach, has three active projects costing more than $500 million total, according to the Construction Journal. It partnered with Gonzalez Architects, Morris-Depew Associates, Inc., and Moss & Associates––Corporate Office.
The hotel’s amenities include a fitness center, paddleboard lessons, beach cabanas, and bicycle rentals. The Ray also includes a rooftop lounge that offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. The hotel itself rests on 1.89 acres.
Visitors can select from King and Queen-sized beds, enter their rooms without keys, and enjoy in-room appliances. Each bed is outfitted with Eucalyptus linens and down pillows and linens. There are also multiple on-site bars, coffee shops, and restaurants.
The Ray’s location is 233 NE 2nd Ave, Delray Beach, FL, 33444. It’s located in Palm Beach County. In terms of proximity, it is west of the Gulf Stream and the Atlantic Ocean.
