Lake Worth, FL, will soon be home to a new assisted living community. Palomino Gardens is a $24 million venture that began construction in October 2020. Cameron General Contractors hopes to end construction in July 2022.
Palomino Gardens isn’t just a 55+ facility; the 10-acre venture will comprise a salon, a “bank or credit union,” and a 150-seat theater. The 180,000-square-foot project will also provide over 190 residential units with 11 different floorplans, including one-bedroom and two-bedroom options. Units run anywhere from 588 square feet to 1,201 square feet.

The resort-inspired community features valet parking, weekly housecleaning services, a visitor suite, and room service. Residential units include ceiling fans, cable TV and internet, full kitchens, and walk-in closets.
Resort Lifestyle Communities owns the project. The organization has 11 active projects, including another assisted living facility in Rockledge, FL. Shell Harbor Adult Living Facility commenced operations in September 2021. Per the Town Crier, Resort Lifestyle Communities has over 40 communities across the country.

Developers hope that the project will provide luxurious living to those in the Fort Worth area. Additionally, the community will create anywhere from 35 to 45 part-time and full-time jobs.
