Westlake, Florida’s getting a new theme park. Adrenaline World is a 92,000-square-foot park that features virtual reality, suspension nets, a rope-climbing course, and an arcade. It will also have the longest go-kart track in Florida.
It also features an 18-hole mini-golf course, with nine holes inside and nine holes outside. A structure called “the Vortex” separates the two sections. The Westlake Wanderer estimates that the building itself measures five to six stories above grade.
The Construction Journal notes that the venture will cost anywhere from $5 million to $10 million to complete. It’s owned by Lloyd Kriek Ventures LLC, which is based in Palm Beach Gardens. Right now, the project’s in its design development phase. The Real Deal reports that the Westlake City Council approved the venture in mid-November 2021.
Cotleur & Hearing, Inc. is the landowner, and Geis Companies is the design-build firm. The Construction Journal reports that Smith and Company, Inc. is one of the project’s prospective bidders. Conceptual renderings show a generously-sized parking lot, outdoor laser tag complex, ropes course, toddler play place, and ball pit.
Adrenaline World’s address is 16604 Town Center Parkway North, Westlake, FL, 33470, in Palm Beach County. It’s northwest of Royal Palm Beach Pines Natural Area.
