Del Webb at Viera began site work earlier in 2021, the Construction Journal reports. The multi-million-dollar venture will serve the Space Coast’s 55+ community which, according to the Viera Voice, makes up more than 40 percent of Florida’s population.
The “active adult living community” will include 1,300 single-family homes. The homes range from one to two stories above grade. Pre-selling begins in early 2022, and homes will reach completion the fourth quarter of 2022. At this time, pricing is not publicly available but will be soon.
Del Webb at Viera is jam-packed with 10 acres of amenities. For starters, there are plans for a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse, ideal for events and get-togethers. Other amenities include a dog park, cabana oasis, tennis court, resort-style pool, and barefoot bar.
On community itself comprises lush, tropical landscaping with waterfront views. There are walking paths and trails that promote exercise and healthy living. The gated, pet-friendly community also offers designated bike trails.
Pulte Group, Inc. owns the venture. The Orlando-based organization has five active projects mostly in the private residential and commercial sectors. It’s working alongside Del Webb Orlando, the project’s developer.
Del Webb at Viera’s address is listed as Stadium Parkway, Melbourne, FL, 32940, in Brevard County.

Unrealistic. Out of touch. Catering to retirees from other states. Not addressing the true housing crisis for families. Disgusting.
