Crescent Heights Announces Commencement of ‘Track & Field’ Mural at Forma Miami

Crescent Heights has announced the commencement of an expansive art project in the heart of Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. Renowned artist Arturo Herrera was commissioned to create a 9,350-square-foot mural named Track & Field, which will grace the east podium façade of Forma Miami, a 39-story, 588-unit residential tower designed by Arquitectonica with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record spanning nearly a full city block at 2900 Biscayne Boulevard. We Are Nice’n Easy, a celebrated local art collective of Allison Matherly and Jeffrey Noble, will meticulously hand-paint the mural throughout the following few weeks.

FAA Permits Filed For Three Tower Cranes At The Site Of 39-Story Nema Miami In Edgewater

Permit applications have been filed with the Federal Aviation Administration for three tower cranes at the development site for Nema Miami, a 39-story mixed-use project in the works at 2900 Biscayne Boulevard in Edgewater, Miami. The development is the first of two phases being administered by Miami-based developer Crescent Heights, which is expected to yield nearly 943,000 square feet of space including 588 apartments, over 50,000 square feet of commercial space anchored by Whole Foods, and as many as 748 parking spots within a 428-foot-tall building. Nema Miami is designed by Arquitectonica with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record and New York-based Rockwell Group is handling interiors.

Renderings Revealed For S-Shaped 649-Foot-Tall Tower In Miami Designed By Rafael Viñoly Architects

New renderings have surfaced of a 649-foot-tall mixed-use tower proposed for 1370 Northeast 2nd Avenue in Miami’s Arts and Entertainment District in between Park West and Edgewater. The S-shaped glass structure is designed by New York City-based Rafael Viñoly Architects, and would rise 54-stories across the street from the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and adjacent to the new Signature Bridge. Crescent Heights is developing the project along with Miami-Dade County’s Public Schools and Performing Arts Center, and the Miami Parking authority. The proposed plan for the project incorporates ground floor commercial uses, office spaces, a new home for Miami-Dade County Public Schools headquarters, multi-family residential units and amenities, and a parking resource serving the Arsht Center.

New Construction Permits Filed For 38-Story Nema Miami At 2900 Biscayne Boulevard In Edgewater

New construction permits have been filed for a 380-foot-tall, 38-story mixed-use tower at 2900 Biscayne Boulevard in Edgewater, Miami. Located near the borders of Wynwood and within what is considered Midtown Miami, the interior lot is just two block away from Biscayne Bay, bounded by NE 29th St. to the south, NE 2nd Ct. to the west, NE 30th St. to the north and Biscayne Blvd. to the east, occupying the entire block. The project will be named Nema, which is a brand of developments by Miami-based Crescent Heights, who has Arquitectonica onboard as the design architect with the Rockwell Group as the architect of record.
