Developer Seeks Planning Board Approval For Herzog & de Meuron-Designed 32-Story Condo Project In West Palm Beach

Palm Beach billionaire Jeff Greene is advancing plans for a high-end condominium project situated across from the waterfront Currie Park in West Palm Beach. The city’s Planning Board is slated to review the project, crafted by the esteemed Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron in partnership with the local Spina O’Rourke + Partners and Enea Garden Design for landscape architecture. The review of the application for the 4.5-acre site at 2175 North Flagler Drive is on the agenda for December 19. The currently vacant site is held by 6622 Hollywood Boulevard Partner LP and 920 N. Stanley Partners LLC, both entities under Greene’s leadership.

Forest Development and Royal Palm Companies recently celebrated the topping-off construction milestone for Nautilus 220, a new luxury mixed-use development with condominium residences in two 24-story towers, waterfront restaurants including SeaHawk Prime by Chef David Burke, retail, and office suites alongside a marina at 220 Lake Shore Drive in Lake Park, FL. The traditional topping-off ceremony was commemorated at the project site on November 3, 2023, attended by more than 550 guests, including construction workers, project partners, and elected officials.

FAA Issues Building Permits For 432-Foot-Tall Structure At 488 Southwest 1st Avenue In Fort Lauderdale

FAA Building permits have been issued for work on 488 Residences at Riverwalk, a 38-story mixed-use building planned for 488 Southwest 1st Avenue in the Tarpon River neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale’s downtown corridor. Located one block south of the New River and bound by Southwest 5th Street on the south, plans for the 26,291-square foot property call for a 580,873-square-foot structure containing 362 dwelling units, around 6,000 square feet of retail space, and 363 parking spaces. Built Form and Tabanlıoğlu Architects designed the current publicly known iteration of the building. The developer is an entity linked to Colorado-based real estate investment trust UDR, Inc., which purchased the development from Ellis Diversified, Inc. in 2022 for $16 million.

Designed by SB Architects, Bayso Sarasota is the region’s latest luxury address offering 149 residences within the city’s Arts and Culture District, a walkable waterfront setting with proximity to marinas and top dining and entertainment destinations. Kast Construction is the general contractor for the project, slated for completion in Q3 2023.
