L&L Holding Company (L&L) and Carpe Real Estate Partners (CREP) have announced that they have successfully completed the acquisition of a 3-acre assemblage for the creation of The Wynwood Plaza, a one-million square-foot multi-building mixed-use development that will bring new office, residential, retail and outdoor space to Miami’s booming Wynwood Arts District. Formerly known as 29N, the project is designed by world-renowned architecture firm Gensler and will become a major attraction and destination for Wynwood. Updated renderings have been revealed in a filing to Miami’s Urban Development Review Board for Wynwood Station, an 8-story mixed-use building proposed to built at 45 Northeast 27th Street in Wynwood. Designed by MSA Architects and developed by FRC Realty, Inc. – an entity owned by Chicago-based Fifield Companies – the 357,848-square-foot structure is projected to include 210 residential rental units, 11,152 square feet of ground floor retail space, and 283 parking spaces across a 6-level garage. Architectural Alliance Landscape is listed as the landscape and Kimley Horn is the civil engineer.

Exterior Work Begins On Wynwood Green at 90 NW 29th Street In Wynwood, Miami

Exterior work has commenced on Wynwood Green, an 11-story residential building under construction in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District. Designed by Fort Lauderdale-based Dorsky + Yue International Architecture and developed by LMV II Wynwood Holdings LP, an affiliate company of the Lennar Corporation, the 146-foot-tall structure will yield 189 residential units across 152,593 square feet, for an average unit scope of 807 square feet.

Wynwood’s Upcoming Arlo Hotel Is Seen Rising At 2217 NW Miami Court

Construction on the Arlo Wynwood, a 9-story mixed-use hotel, is making notable progress in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District. Designed by NBWW Architects and developed by Quadrum Global, the ground up hotel is addressed as 2217 Northwest Miami Court, occupying the southwestern corner of the interior lot with frontage along Perimeter Road as well. The development is expected to yield up to 141,758 square feet of space with 217 guest rooms.

Construction is steadily progressing on The Dorsey, a 12-story mixed-use building rising in Miami’s Wynwood Art District. According to the active construction permits, the development is addressed as 286 Northwest 29th Street, bounded by NW 3rd Avenue to the west, NW 28th Street to the south and NW 2nd Avenue to the east.

Another project is making steady strides towards reaching completion in Miami’s Wynwood Art District; Introducing Strata Wynwood, a 12-story, mixed-use development currently under construction. The site is addressed as 2201 North Miami Avenue, and sits right on the border of Wynwood and Edgewater, bounded by Northeast 23rd Street to the north and Northeast 22nd Street to the south, and Brightline train tracks to the west. The building is designed by Stantec and being developed by the CIM Group with One Real Estate Investment.

Exterior work is making steady progress on Gateway At Wynwood, a 12-story mixed-use building in the Wynwood district of Miami. Addressed as 2916 North Miami Avenue, the structure is designed by Kobi Karp and developed Rose & Berg Realty Group. The ground-up development will yield 195,000 square feet of Class-A office space, 25,000 square feet of prime retail space, an 8,500 private rooftop deck and up to 574 indoor parking spaces. The property is bounded by Northwest 30th Street to the north and Northwest 29th Street to the south, occupying the entire western frontage along North Miami Avenue.

Miami’s Wynwood Arts District is set to gain yet another new development following a new proposal from Related Group. The prominent developer looks to redevelop two sites at 2150 and 2115 North Miami Avenue along NW 22nd Street, bounded by NW Miami Ct. to the west and Florida’s East Coast Rail Road to the east. The proposal calls for two 12-story mixed-use buildings topping out at 157-feet, designed by CFE Architects.
