Dan-Rico Properties, LLC is one step closer toward building Citrus Pointe, a housing development that is expected to have 16 multi-family units. The proposed complex will be located at 14200 Henderson Street, which is located in unincorporated Miami-Dade County. Upon completion, the building is expected to be four stories high and house 34 people.
This is a multi-purpose project where the lofts will sit on top of 1,200 S.F. of retail space and a 400 S.F. cafe. The residences themselves will be 26,268 S.F. altogether. The south side of the building, which will allow access to the main lobby and businesses, has a facade that is 20,065 S.F.
The lofts will be designed to accommodate a maximum of three bedrooms each. The parking lot will have 13 covered parking spaces and six open parking spots. Four parking spots will be located on the street. There is also handicap-accessible parking.
The ceilings will be made of a medium stucco finish, while the floors will be made of woodgrain, prodema planks (or something similar). Additionally, all of the windows are impact-proof.
The entire property sits on .31 acres of land within the Naranja Community Urban Center District. The complex is intended to feature a dog park, communal barbecue stations, and electric vehicle charging stations. The complex will also be adjacent to the already-existing Villas of Naranja, another family housing development.
The project is 53 percent to filing completion as of April 12, 2021. A virtual pre-application meeting was held on March 31, 2021, where the application was approved.
