Crescent Heights, a prominent real estate company in Miami, has a new multi-storied apartment building in the works. NEMA Miami (also called Nema Miami in other sources) will be a 428-foot building located on Biscayne Boulevard.
Miami is seeing a huge construction boom in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, hoping to provide both residential and commercial spaces to those living in the area.
Upon completion, not only will NEMA Miami comprise 588 apartments, but there will also be 56,450 square feet of retail space. Sources say that an “organic grocer” will occupy one of the retail spaces.
In total, the building will be 39 stories high. It was designed by Arquitectonica, an international architecture firm headquartered in Miami. NEMA Miami will be built in the modernist style, primarily consisting of a glass exterior. Its design is intended to “blend in” with Florida’s blue skies.
Presently, NEMA Miami is owned by Crescent Heights. Presently, per the Construction Journal, the project’s status is “project in for redesign” as of May 14, 2021.
The development’s physical location is 2900 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL, 33137. It will be located at the edge of Wynwood and Edgewater. In terms of relativity, it is just minutes away from Miami’s Biscayne Bay. It is also near the Frost Museum and Jungle Island.
