Varadero (also called La Playa de Varadero in some sources) is a luxury condo/hotel that is expected to begin construction sometime in 2022. The project has been underway since 2014, when Fortune International Group and Chateau Group teamed up to build the hotel-condominium in Sunny Isles, FL.
Per the Construction Journal, the development will consist of two “phases.” Both of the phases will be towers, one of which will be smaller than the other. The larger tower will comprise 60 hotel units, 90 hotel/condo units, and 234 residential units. The smaller tower will have no hotel units, but instead, 138 residential condos.
In total, there will be 522 units. The larger “phase” will be 56 stories above grade. There will also be 1,228,399 square feet of new construction, resting on 4.70 acres of land. In total, the project is estimated to cost more than $10 million. The developers bought the existing buildings and land for $124 million.
Per the South Florida Business Journal, Varadero will have 430 feet of beachfront view. The development will feature a parking garage with 1,013 spaces. As noted, Varadero will be located in Sunny Isles, Florida, which is located 13 miles from Miami. The physical location is 18801 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles, FL, 33160.

Thanks.
