In 2018, Jackson Street Development, LLC filed an application for the construction of a multi-story mixed-use complex. The complex, named Nine Hollywood, will be 13 stories above grade and have 204 units. Each unit will be 521 square feet.
The project is expected to cost anywhere from $24 million to $30 million. The building itself will be 104,284 square feet. While the lot only needs 245 parking lots to be approved, the site will have 260 parking spots upon completion.
The building will have 7,315 square feet of retail space. It will be built in the modernism architectural style, which is characterized by glass windows, straight outlines, and rectangular shapes.
According to the pre-application filed in 2018, the project was expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2020. However, the project was still nearing completion at the time of this page’s publication in the second quarter of 2021.
