Legacy Hotel & Residences, a $178 million project, is currently in its “permitting” phase, according to the Construction Journal. Per the development’s website, the luxury complex features a one-acre pool deck, rooftop bar, and 50,000-square foot medical clinic.
In total, the mixed-use development will feature approximately 533 units. Two-hundred and fifty-five units will be designated as hotel rooms. Two-hundred and seventy-eight units are for permanent residents. The smallest units are studio apartments that measure about 350 square feet. The largest units, which are two-bedroom/two-bathrooms, measure about 720 square feet.
One of the biggest draws about Legacy Hotel & Residences is the Center for Health + Performance, also referred to as “CH+P.” This aspect alone is estimated to cost over $60 million to complete. The outpatient facility will feature 100,000 square feet of new construction.
Presently, Royal Palm Companies owns the property. Headquartered in Miami, the organization was involved in the construction of Paramount Miami World Center, Estero Oaks, and Bella Vista. They partnered with Kobi Karp Architect & Interior Design on Legacy Hotels & Residences.
Site work on the project is still undergoing. Construction will complete in the first quarter of 2023. The physical address is 942 Northeast First Avenue, Miami, FL, 33132. In terms of proximity, the development is located near the Philip and Patricia Frost Museum in the Arts & Entertainment District.
