Sunrise, FL, will soon be home to a 288-unit luxury garden-style apartments. The 15.5-acre site is presently under construction after securing a $45.8 construction loan back in 2020. The residence is intended to alleviate the housing crisis in the area. In total, the project will cost $55 million to complete.
Vista Verde at Sunrise will feature a spa, swimming pool, and fitness center
Named “Vista Verde” (which literally translates into “green view”), the new complex will be built on the former location of Winn-Dixie, which was closed and then demolished years prior to construction. The Construction Journal reports that the project was temporarily delayed in 2020, but now, it seems as though everything is back on track.
Vista Verde will comprise eight buildings, each measuring three stories above grade. In total, the venture calls for 404,907 square feet of new construction. For residents’ enjoyment and convenience, plans call for communal barbeque pits, a social clubhouse, fitness center, hot tub/spa, and swimming pool. The complex will also be pet-friendly, although this may come with some restrictions.

Rilea Group oversees the endeavor. They have other “Vista Verde” developments across South Florida, including in Coconut Creek, Welleby Park, Deerwood, and Westchester. Vista Verde at Sunrise’s physical address is 8894 NW 44th Street, Sunrise, FL, 33351. There is no information regarding when construction will finish. However, it could be within the next year or so.

Are these apartments for RENT or SELL?? Can ANYBODY provide information because I went in person, and NOBODY was able to give me any answer.
