YIMBY recently checked in on the progress of construction at the Aston Martin Residences, a 66-story luxury residential skyscraper under construction at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way in Downtown Miami. Designed by BMA Arquitectos & Asociados with Revuelta Architecture International as the executive architect and developed by G&G Business Developments, the structure is on its way to its final height of 816-feet-tall and picking up the title for second tallest building in all of Miami. The building will yield 391 tastefully designed residences in collaboration with automaker Aston Martin.
When YIMBY last visited the site in the beginning of May, the reinforced superstructure had reached the 53rd story. Concrete pouring has now reached the penthouse levels, which will span level 56 through 65. This portion of the tower sets back from the west, opening up the amenity space on the 55th floor. The remaining penthouse levels maintain the curving form on the east, while rising on an angle back towards the setback.
The glass curtain wall installation is currently on the sky residence levels between the 46th and 51st floor. Some glass panels are left to be installed on the curved balconies as well. The curved balconies along the eastern elevation on the 4th and 5th floors 3rd reveal the true nature of the glass panels being installed along the outdoor terraces overlooking the river. The balcony glass is mostly transparent with a minor tint of blue, while the windows and sliding doors feature a stringer tint of blue.
Cervera Real Estate is handling sales and marketing with units starting from $750,000 – $8,800,000 for the River and Panoramic Residences; from $14,000,000 – $50,000,000 for the Sky and Penthouse Residences. Residences come in a mix of studios, 1-to-5 bedroom units and penthouses starting from 698 square feet to 10,463 square feet. Well over 70% of the units have already been sold.
Construction is expected to wrap up some time in 2022; total cost of construction according to the master permit filing is $333,507,475.
