The Bohemian, a $23 million mixed-used venture, coming soon to 1017 Lake Avenue, FL, 33460

Presently, The Bohemian, a $23 million mixed-use residential venture, is continuing construction. Construction began on the project in the second quarter of 2021, per the Construction Journal. Ideally, the venture will reach completion within the next few years.

Owned by Affiliated Companies (which currently has four active projects), The Bohemian will comprise over 200,000 square feet of new construction. About 3,600 square feet has been allotted for retail space.

The mixed-use development features both residential and retail space

Two hundred units have been allotted as residential space. In total, the building will rise seven stories above grade. The parking garage, which will feature 367 spaces, will require over 51,000 square feet of new construction and rise five stories above grade.

According to the Palm Beach Post, the development will require $1.6 million in public funding. According to Jeff Burns, the CEO of Affiliated Companies: “We believe in the future of Lake Worth Beach, and we want to be part of crafting its future.”

The development’s physical location is 1017 Lake Avenue, FL, 33460. It will be located in Palm Beach County. Per the 2019 U.S. Census, Palm Beach County had a population of 1.4 million people. The goal of The Bohemian is not only to bring more tax revenue to the area but also to address South Florida’s growing housing crisis.

  1. Housing crisis is the i affordability for a normal working lake worth resident. Why not build AFFORDABLE housing smh
