Keys Lake Seeks Site Plan Approvals at Southwest 336th Street, Homestead, FL, 33030

Keys Lake, a residential multi-home venture, was approved to build over 200 units in 2008, reports the South Florida Business Journal. However, for unspecified reasons, developers didn’t move forward. Now, after more than 10 years, owner Homestead PJC Investment hopes to revitalize the project––and it’s bigger than before.

The Construction Journal reports that the project will include 250 multi-family townhomes, each measuring two stories above grade. The largest units comprise 1,988 square feet, including four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The smallest units comprise 1,820 square feet, featuring three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Each townhome comes with its own private garage.

Each town home comes with its own parking garage.

Amenities include a social club and playground. Plans are also underway for a 831-spot parking lot. In total, the project will require 462,000 square feet of new construction. The project is still in its conception stage as of late July 2021.

The project’s still in its infancy, so we’re not sure when construction will begin and how much individual units will be. We do know that the lot itself is about 28 acres; the land was purchased for $3 million in 2018. The project’s currently seeking site plan approvals.

Our sources note that Key Lakes will be located in Miami-Dade County. Its future address is listed as Southwest 336th Street, Homestead, FL, 33030.
