The DeMarcay, a new residential complex, is coming soon to Sarasota County. The $23 million venture began construction in the first quarter of 2021 and will conclude in June 2023. It’s owned by GK Real Estate, which presently has four active projects, mostly in the private commercial sector.
The development will include one 18-story building with 39 available units. The Construction Journal notes that, in total, the venture will require over 135,000 square feet of new construction.

One of the biggest benefits of this complex is its location. According to the development’s website, The DeMarcay is “tucked amongst the most coveted galleries, restaurants, shops, theaters and the marina.”
Amenities include a rooftop pool, communal clubhouse, outdoor kitchen, and fitness center. Residents can also enjoy indoor parking and concierge services. Due to the increased housing demand in the region, unit availability is limited. Square footage runs from just over 1,000 square feet to upwards of 3,100 square feet, depending on the model.

Each unit is outfitted with private balconies, 10-foot ceilings, wood or marble flooring, and the latest appliances Electrolux has to offer. The residence was designed by Parker Walter Group, Inc., which is based locally in Sarasota. The DeMarcay’s address is 33 South Palm Avenue, Sarasota, FL, 34236. As noted, it will be located in Sarasota County.
