McKim & Creed, a Florida-based developer, is seeking site approvals for Wild Heron. Right now, the site is currently zoned for highway and commercial development, according to the Navarre Press. The gated housing complex will feature 35 single-family homes on 16 acres of land.
According to Wild Heron’s website, community amenities include a boat storage house, resort-style pool, fire pits, and health club. It also includes “Shark’s Tooth Golf Club,” a 7,200-yard golf course that includes a clubhouse, bar, grill, dining room, and locker room. It also features a tennis court.
Conceptual renderings show multi-floored single homes with porches, landscaped walkways, and neutral-colored facades. Interested parties can get more information by reaching out to the Berkshire Hathaway Beach Properties of Florida.
The Construction Journal reports that Southern Ventures Development is the project’s builder. The Florida-based organization has two active projects right now; one is Wild Heron, the other is a Springhill Suites by Marriot in West Melbourne, FL. The former project’s currently delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Wild Heron’s address is 8900 Block of Navarre Parkway, Navarre, FL, 32566, in Santa Rosa County. The waterfront community is by Frank Brown Park, Destin, and Lake Powell, all of which offer canoeing, hiking trails, and beaches.
