At-Rate Apartment Complex Underway in Cape Coral, FL, 33990 in Lee County

The community comprises three apartment buildings measuring four stories above grade.

Owl’s Nest Apartments in Cape Coral, FL, is undergoing construction. The project, estimated to cost at least $10 million, will comprise 96 at-market-rate units, ranging from one-bedroom to two-bedroom floor plans. In 2020, the Cape Coral Breeze reported that the units will range from 700 square feet to 1,148 square feet each.

The complex comprises three apartment buildings measuring four stories above grade. In total, the community will require over 130,000 square feet of new construction, with Heatherwood Construction Co. serving as the general contractor. In addition to the residential units, tenants will enjoy a two-story clubhouse that requires over 6,000 square feet of construction. Additional amenities include a resort-style community pool and fitness center.

A Facebook post earlier this year reported that, ideally, the project will finish construction sometime in 2022. It’s owned by G. Fazio Construction Company Inc., which is based out of New York. This is the organization’s only project right now, and it partnered with MK Architecture on the community’s exterior and interior design.

Conceptual renderings reveal garden-style, mid-rise buildings with barrel-tiled roofs. Some units come outfitted with outdoor balconies. This design may be subject to change as the project nears completion.

The buildings measure four stories above grade.

The project will be located along Hancock Bridge Parkway in Cape Coral, FL, 33990. It will be located in Lee County.
