Sales have launched for La Baia, an 8-story luxury boutique bayfront condominium development slated to rise at 9201 East Bay Harbor Drive in the southeastern tip of Bay Harbor Islands. Designed by Miami’s award-winning Revuelta Architecture International and developed by the Continuum Company – led by New York City visionary Ian Bruce Eichner, the glass and stucco-clad structure will improve over 44,000 square feet of vacant land facing Indian Creek and across from the town of Surfside. The development is planned to feature 68 luxurious residences with 20-boat slips and more than 30,000 square feet of resort-style amenities.
“La Baia’s waterfront setting offers the optimum active and healthy Miami lifestyle. Now more than ever, families are taking pleasure in a wide range of outdoor activities and experiencing the joys of boating as never before,” said Phil Gutman, President of Pgutman LLC. “Our private marina is a fabulous amenity as is the ability to kayak, paddleboard or swim. It’s the essence of a Florida lifestyle.”
“We are delighted to launch sales now – as Bay Harbor’s unique lifestyle is being discovered and in high demand by a new wave of buyers looking to relocate here,” said Eichner, the founder of The Continuum Company, LLC. “Just as Continuum paved the way for South of Fifth to reach its potential, so too will La Baia be transformative for Bay Harbor Islands.”
Residences will be come in one through four-bedroom arrangements, spanning between 1,100 to 2,500 square feet, and each home will be delivered completely finished and ready to be designed, decorated and furnished. Condo features include well-appointed fixtures and finishes curated by New York-based Durukan Design. Generous ceiling heights range between 9 and 10-feet; there are spacious his-and-her walk-in closets, balconies with glass railings and a pair of secure underground parking spots for each unit owner.
Suffolk Construction has been selected as the project’s general contractor. Pgutman LLC, led by Phil Gutman, is exclusively handling sales with units starting from $810,000.
Eichner hopes to begin construction on the seawall in January 2022, with completion expected for November 2023.
