View 29 Slated for at 2901 Northwest 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL, 33127

New Urban Development, LLC has a new project underway: View 29. The 12-story building is intended to provide affordable housing for those living in Miami-Dade County. The South Florida Business Journal reports that the complex will comprise 116 units, about 6,900 square feet of ground floor retail, and 105 parking spots. In total, the building comprises close to 200,000 square feet of new construction.

The units themselves range from 650 to 1,200 square feet each. There’s 30 studio apartments, 18 one-bedroom units, 58 two-bedroom units, and 10 three-bedroom units. Eligible residents will make anywhere from 30 percent to 120 percent of the area’s median income.

Studio Mc+G Architecture signed the project. On-site amenities include a pool, yoga room, fitness center, and business center. There’s also a rooftop terrace with a canopy of solar panels. Conceptual renderings reveal a rustic wooden and glass facade with outdoor patios and landscaped balconies. The Construction Journal reports that the project will cost over $32 million to finish. Right now, the project’s in its permitting stage.

View 29 is located at 2901 Northwest 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL, 33127, in Miami-Dade County. It’s located in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District. Before construction commenced, the build site was vacant.
