Banyan View is moving toward completion, its official website reports. The residential community comprises two buildings, each measuring six stories above grade. Construction will ideally end in 2023, yielding 197 homes.
The build site measures over four acres and will include 305 parking spots, offered at a ratio of 1.5 spaces per unit. The South Florida Business Journal notes that, in total, the community requires over 220,000 square feet of new construction. EGI Group, Inc., the project’s developer, bought the lot for $2 million in 2019.
The community overlooks a nearby golf course.
Rule Joy Trammel + Rubio is the project’s architect. Conceptual renderings show that the community will feature a swimming pool and overlook a nearby golf course (specifically, the golf course’s 10th and 18th holes). The community itself features manicured lawns, hedges, and carefully selected palm trees.
Amenities include a fitness lounge, open-air courtyards, and communal gathering spaces. Banyan View’s website notes that residents will likely pay about $2,000 a month to rent units. The Construction Journal reports that other involved organizations on the project include Banyan Cay Development, LLC and Simmons & White Inc.
Plans include 197 units and over 300 parking spots.
