The Luna is an upscale apartment complex coming to Viera, FL. For years, mid-rise apartment buildings have dominated the eastern Florida landscape. Now, the Viera Voice reports that the six-story apartment complex will be among the city’s largest buildings. The project will take anywhere from 14 to 18 months to complete. Per Space Coast Daily, the community will start leasing in 2022.
It comprises 245 units. There are five studios, 146 one-bedroom units, and 94 two-bedroom units. The Luna is primarily geared toward young professionals in Brevard County. The build site itself measures 2.5 acres.
The Construction Journal reports that North American Properties, Inc. is the project’s owner and developer. It partnered with DAG Architects on the building’s design. The community comprises over 210,000 square feet of new construction, with the building mostly comprising concrete and steel.
Amenities include a business lounge, conference rooms, a dog park, a fitness center, and a “club hub” with poolside access. The mail room also has an Amazon hub where residents can easily pick up packages. There’s also plans for a multi-story parking garage with over 350 parking spots.
The Luna is located along Rodina Drive in Viera, Florida, in Brevard County. It’s estimated to cost around $100 million to complete.
