Lake House at Eustis Assisted Living Facility is one step closer to completion in Lake County, FL. The multi-million-dollar venture will provide a three-story assisted living facility for seniors in Central Florida. Construction’s expected to start in March 2022 and will ideally complete in April 2023. The project was briefly delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic, but it’s moving forward.
The facility will comprise over 87,000 square feet of new construction. Upon completion, the building will provide accommodations for 98 people. Construction requires the demolition of three already-existing buildings on the 1.75-acre site. According to GrowthSpotter, Lake House at Eustis Assisted Living Facility will be the first assisted living facility in Eustis in 10 years.

Originally, the facility was going to be much smaller, only offering about 20 beds. However, developers soon realized that a larger facility would better meet the area’s needs. DataUSA reports that Eustis gained more than 500 residents from 2018 to 2019, and the area’s average age is 40 years old. Soon, many of those people will require assisted living facilities.
The complex is east of Lake Eustis.
Bessolo Design Group, Inc. is the project’s architect, and Wharton-Smith Inc. is the general contractor. Lake House at Eustis Assisted Living Facility is located in an opportunity zone. The Construction Journal lists its address as North Shore Drive, Eustis, FL, 32726, in Lake County.
