Orlando’s Tourist Corridor is getting a new hotel. Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Buena Vista is a 604-room hotel that’s currently undergoing construction. Interested parties can start booking their stays for mid-October 2022 and beyond.
The project involves renovating and expanding a Best Western that already offered 340 rooms. The Orlando Sentinel––Orange County Edition notes that the project will come in two phases. The hotel itself rises 14 stories above grade and will cost over $48 million to complete.

The hotel comes with many amenities, including a hot breakfast, a swimming pool, a 24-hour business center, a fitness center, and free Wi-Fi. Right now, one-bed rooms go for about $137 a day––which could be higher or lower during certain times of the year.
Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Buena Vista has one goal: to bring people closer to Disney World. Google Earth’s renderings show that the hotel is a short drive from Disney Springs and Typhoon Lagoon. It’s also near other attractions, including Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld.

Drury Hotels Company, LLC owns the venture. It’s also the general contractor. Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Buena Vista’s address is 2000 Hotel Plaza Boulevard, Lake Buena Vista, FL, 32830, in Orange County. It’s located north of Interstate 4 and east of Blake Lake.
