Guess what North Florida town is getting a new hotel? Jacksonville, FL. Plans are underway for WaterWalk Jacksonville hotel, a mid-rise multi-million-dollar venture. It’s owned by WaterWalk Real Estate Development, LLC, which currently oversees nine destinations and 20 other active projects.
WaterWalk Jacksonville will feature over 120 rooms, ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom options. Guests can book stays for a few days or a few weeks, depending on their preferences.
The hotel is primarily geared toward businesspeople temporarily staying in the area. Some units come furnished, while others do not. At this time, we’re not sure how much rooms cost per night. The hotel broke ground in December 2021 with Integrated Construction, LLC–– Jacksonville serving as the general contractor. Completion’s expected by the third quarter of 2023.
K2M Design––Cleveland Office designed the venture. The Ohio-based organization has 29 active projects, mostly in the private service sectors. The firm shared conceptual renderings with the Jacksonville Business Journal in late 2021.
Renderings reveal a spacious parking lot and a neutral brown and grey facade. Amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, dog walk, and outdoor grilling areas.
WaterWalk Jacksonville’s address is 8895 Perimeter Park Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL, 32216, in Duval County. It’s east of I-95 and west of I-295.
