King’s Landing, a mixed-use venture coming to Fort Pierce, FL, recently secured approval. TC Palm reports that the $140 million project will comprise multiple buildings on a 7.5-acre build site. Construction’s expected to start this year. Here’s what’s in store.
Plans are underway for a five-story hotel with 140 rooms. The community also offers a total of 114 residential units: 106 condos and eight townhomes. The condos are one- to three-bedroom units, starting at $400,000 each. The eight townhomes are two stories each, featuring two bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Ownership starts at around $700,000.
Parking in King’s Landing is no problem. Plans include a multi-level parking garage with 179 spots, as well as 129 surface parking spaces. The retail aspect alone calls for more than 50,000 square feet of new construction.
Audubon Development owns the venture. Other entities on the endeavor include Cronk Duch Partners (the architect) and Conkling & Lewis Construction (the general contractor). Every entity on this project is based in Florida.
Conceptual renderings show low- to high-rise buildings. The residential aspect includes balconies, and King’s Landing itself overlooks a marina. The community’s location is at the former site of the H.D. King Power Plant, which is between Indian River and Second Street, Fort Pierce, FL, in St. Lucie County.
