Blue Sky Landing is undergoing construction in Fort Pierce, Florida. Opening in December 2022, the two-building housing development will feature 164 units, ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom options. It will cost about $20 million to complete.
Per the venture’s website, each building will host 16 one-bedroom units, 48 two-bedroom units, and 18 three-bedroom units. Homes range from 505 square feet to 1,197 square feet each. Application information will become available in Fall 2022. Per WPTV, Blue Sky Landing is an affordable housing complex, with rent ranging from $400 a month for a one-bedroom unit to $1,000 for a three-bedroom unit.
The community offers affordable housing options to people living in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Communal amenities include lakeside views, a swimming pool, and a clubhouse. Blue Sky Communities LLC owns the nine-acre property. The organization, founded ten years ago in 2012, focuses on providing affordable housing opportunities to those who need it most.
Blue Sky Communities LLC has partnered with Architectonics Studio, a Saint Petersburg-based architect. Conceptual renderings show mid-rise buildings with a grey, white, brown, and green facade. Homes overlook a lake with a fountain, walking trails, and outdoor seating.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place in 2021.
Other involved entities on the venture are Wantman Group Inc. (the civil engineer), KBA Engineering, Inc. (the MEP engineer), and NDC Construction Company (the general contractor). Blue Sky Landing’s address is McNeil Road at Portofino Landings Boulevard, Fort Pierce, Florida, 34947, in Saint Lucie County.
