Construction To Break Ground on Boynton Beach Marketplace at 7499 West Boynton Beach Boulevard, Boynton Beach, Florida

A new commercial/retail venture’s coming to Boynton Beach, Florida. Boynton Beach Marketplace will comprise more than 62,000 square feet of new construction, offering restaurants, boutique fitness centers, and other ventures.

The South Florida Business Journal reports that a Whole Foods will occupy the biggest available space, measuring anywhere from 25,000 to 50,000 square feet. This will be extremely convenient for residents of Boynton Beach; the nearest Whole Foods is nearly seven miles from the complex. The Boca Raton Tribune notes that there are some empty spots remaining for lease in the plaza, and spots are filling up fast.

The complex will measure one story above grade. Construction will begin in fall 2022 and likely conclude in the fourth quarter of 2023. SJC Ventures owns Boynton Beach Marketplace and presently has 60 projects in the pipeline.

One of those projects is the Interlock, a 125-room hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. SJC Ventures will acquire Boynton Beach Market’s 7.9-acre parcel through an agreement with its current owners, who purchased the empty lot in 1992.

Boynton Beach Marketplace will cost at least $10 million to construct. Involved parties on the venture include Urban Design Kilday Studios (the land planner) and Simmons & White Inc. (the civil engineer).

Boynton Beach Marketplace’s address is 7499 West Boynton Beach Boulevard, Boynton Beach, Florida, 33437, in Palm Beach County.

  5. Excited for WholeFoods!! Is there any update on the build progress and forecasted opening date? Last article I read said Spring 2024. The community would also love to have a Trader Joe’s in Boynton Beach on Jog Road, close to both Sprouts and WholeFoods.
